Aiken is a dream location for golf lovers. It has a mild four season climate and many beautiful courses, both private and public. Two of the more famous courses include the Augusta National Golf Course, home of the Master's Golf Tournament and the Palmetto Golf Club, founded in 1893 and one of the oldest in America.

Though The Ridge at Chukker Creek does not have its own course, many homesites enjoy views of neighboring links and there are many public courses nearby.
